The spring Marathon season opened at the weekend with Manchester and Paris. Hilary Buckley endured a hard second half to the Paris Marathon, finishing in 5.10.14. In Manchester, Kathryn scorched to 3.21.38, David did well to run 3.34.57 after injury and Katie (3.54.36) broke the all important 4-hour barrier. No doubt there will be some tales to be told about all of those results.

Nigel was the pick of the parkrunners on Saturday; just 3s short of a PB. Tourists were Harry (Aylesbury), Lee (Wepre), Kathryn and David (both Sale Water).
