It seems to have been the season for interesting challenges. Last week, Hayley had an epic trail race in the Lakes; this week Jackie’s Lisbon HM in 28 degree heat qualified as the most conventional. Charly (and ex-member Kelley Wilder) completed the Ultra X Scotland 50 on the shores of Loch Ness and Harry did the Run Rabbit Festival, which included a 5k each hour for 5 hours, a headtorch 10K and a Half Marathon, adding up to 56.1km of hilly multi-terrain.
Mo stamped his authority on parkrun once again and Chris W went out with intent and was rewarded with his best time of 2022. Helen A (also a 2022 best) and David B were both edging towards PB territory.
