Hoggs that trot together

Being around her fellow Hoggs at Leicester Victoria this morning may have been just the tonic Helen Arthur needed to bring out her inner Hoggerine. Squirrels, birds and Westenders were diving out of her path as she snarled and growled her way to a spectacular PB and her first sub 27:00 @ 26:45. RRAARRGGHH!!!

Martin Capell was also feeling his inner Hoggerine as he savaged last week’s time by 1:15 @ 27:13. GGRRRR!

Shila Mistry proves it aint no mystery that an easy start leads to a strong finish and early gains lead to late losses as she closed down her running mate’s early large lead to just two places @ 31:34. Nice one Shila.

Top tenners were Sam Jolly @ 19:46, 9th and Alistair Mottram-Epsom @ 19:13. 4th.

Gurmit proved what a big little Hogg he is nowadays by keeping down the pace in light of tomorrow’s Lutterworth 5 @ 20:58, thank God!

Daniel Del Greco kept his new form up with his fourth sub 22:00 now @ 21:47. Excellent work Dan. Terry Woodhouse and his fave running buddy were up to their usual pace @ 22:05 with Richard Rae close behind them @ 22:08. Kathryn Evans remained in post marathon cruise mode @ 23:53 and James Thurman had a speedy Parkrun @ 20:14.

Excellent marshalling from Brian Feldman this morning as he emanated some infectious energy to his fellow Hoggs.
