Anna and Gurmit both did the first of the Winter Series 5k races on Thursday. Whilst Anna couldn’t better the PB she set in September, Gummi broke his with a 17.11 (which is quicker than his best time on the track). Yesterday was the Leicestershire 10K at Prestwold and we were represented by Blake, Hayley and Sarah Richards, but it was a bit too windy on the exposed sections of the airfield for any chance of a really fast time.

Parkrun was pretty quiet this week but Ian A zipped round in sub-20 and there was a parkrun PB for Ashveer (Randeep and Gurmit’s eldest) to go with his impressive 20.01 from Thursday. There was also a best time of 2021 for Usha. Harry’s travels took him to Edgbaston Reservoir (which had its inaugural event in August).
