On Saturday we had 3 mixed and 1 men’s team competing in the Victoria Park Relays. Our men’s team (Matt L, Sam J, Mark R, Gurmit) finished a creditable 6th (of 12) and two of our mixed teams placed 6th (Mike C, Cath, Terry) and 9th (Ross, Adele, Tom)(of 13). The other mixed team (Dan, Anna, Dave) managed to finish with the bronze medals. A big thank you to Tom for organising (and for stepping in to take a leg, even though not fully fit). Our results are attached.
Chris W was on pacing duty yesterday in the Derby HM, coming home in 1.56.10 (and more importantly, helping a colleague to a big PB).
Given the horrible weather on Saturday morning, it is unsurprising that not much parkrunning got done. John D did manage the ultimate in parkrun tourism, completing the Bushy event (the one that spawned the whole movement).
