One park, three PBs at Victoria Park parkrun this morning. Not only a PB for Cath Brooks but a huge breakthrough as she bursts through the floor of 29:00 for the first time by a whopping 32 seconds @ 28:28. Phenomenal.

Laura Pepper beat her previous PB by 12 seconds and got her first top 20 place in 18th @ 20:34 and Peter Mottram-Epson was 13 seconds ahead of his best @ 21:28.

So relaxed was Caroline Smissen today that she looked like she was going to go above 32:00 for the first time in a while but a cheeky little 300m finishing dash kept her sub 32:00 by 8 seconds @ 31:52.

Today’s top ten park Hoggers are Nathan Booker and James Thurman, both in 7th place @ 19:33 and 20:11.

A huge stride forward by Daniel Del Greco with a PB ahead of his previous by 1:07!! @ 22:27. Daniel has come along way this year and is looking like a potential candidate for an award come November.

Mat Jenkinson impressed today, 21 seconds ahead of his previous PB @ 25:17, next stop sub 25:00 or we’re taking his pies off him.

With no Sunday race upon her Kathryn Evans was out giving it some speed again at Parkrun @ 22:20.

Another tentative step by Gurmit Garcha towards his old form this morning but he’s still feeling some pain @ 20:32.
