What a wonderful evening! Kathryn Evans scooped the big prize with her fellow members voting her Athlete of the Year. She also received the award for Female Road Running Athlete of the Year. James Boyd was Male Road Running Athlete of the Year and Gemma Wheldon and Matt Langtree were rewarded for outstanding seasons with awards for Most Improved Athlete. Helen Arthur and Dave Lodwick won the Cross Country awards. There was a Chair’s Award for Steve Wheeler and a Club Person award for Marcus Shaikh, who also was the lucky recipient of the club Marathon place.

We were delighted to be able to recognise the achievements of members in gaining their County Standards and for contributing towards our successful LRRL season. Finally, to mark our 35th anniversary, there were richly deserved Life Memberships for Jackie Brown and John Stew.
