Not aware of any racing this weekend, but I did miss Martin W’s 2.15.40 in the Kew Gardens HM last week.

To provide a very welcome alternative, Sam J organised a 2-mile team challenge event which produced a very ‘Roadhoggs’ result, in that the team with the highest average age came first!

1st; Team C (43.56): Jackie, Terry and Dave

2nd; Team B (45.16): Rambo, Charly and Cath.

3rd, Team D (45.48): Adele, Blake and Harry.

4th, Team A (52.23): Brian, Sam and Anna.

The parkrun PB drought is well and truly over! After several weeks of seeing near misses, no less than 4 members hit the target and the time gains were all substantial. Gummi led the way with 17.01 (which also secured him P1). Mike put his Tuesday Session efforts to good use with 20.34, as did Cath (27.27) and Grace also went sub-28 for the first time (27.49). Well done all.
