There was some racing action at the weekend. Blake and Brian did the hilly Oundle 20 in 3.03.14 and 4.52.49 respectively. For Brian, it was another milestone towards his ‘A Race’ of Race to the Stones; which will be a mere 100km. We also had members doing the very scenic Burleigh 7; Charlotte W (51.34, Gold Standard), John D (52.42), Jackie (52.56, Diamond Standard) and Charlotte T (1.12.38). Congratulations to Charlotte T on achieving a PB.

Brian achieved the significant milestone of his 100th volunteering credit on Saturday (to match his 100+ running credits). There is a photo of mine on the Network website of Brian timing one of the very first Leicester Victoria parkruns (on the old course, for those that remember) so he has very much been an integral part of this event since its inception. Matt L, Vijay, Liz and Neil were also hi-viz heroes. Matt eased himself back in after injury with an 18.59 clocking. Coach Sam was the pick of the Hoggs at Braunstone with a 19.21. Harry added a hilly Gadebridge in Hemel Hempstead to his list.
