We had several members racing last week. Haseeb (33.46), Blake (36.15), Terry (37.33), Ian L (41.47) and Julian (43.46) did the Watermead Challenge 5-miler. The Windmill Fell race was over a similar distance, but with a tad more elevation. Well done to our representatives Rambo, Charly and Marcus.

Last weekend saw Brian’s ‘A race’; Race to the Stones. His plan was to complete the full 100km along the Ridgeway, but the weather had other ideas. He has nothing to prove to anybody, and after a day of frying in the heat, took the sensible decision to call it a day at the halfway point.

Hilary Browne did the Winwick Hall Trail 13K in Northamptonshire and our globe-trotting film star, Gummi, added representing India in the final of the World Masters 1500m to his list of achievements.


Mo lowered his course record at LVpr by a second and recorded the 4th fastest parkrun time in the UK this weekend.
